Do I need to speak Spanish to travel to Costa Rica?

It is not required to speak Spanish to navigate throughout Costa Rica; most locations will have English speakers who will be able help you.

San Isidro Del General, Costa Rica is located about 35 miles from our developments.

Are there any locations nearby to purchase food products?

A large grocery store (approximately 5,000 square feet) is located in Palmar Norte Costa Rica and there are 4 Grocery stores about 20 minutes North in Uvita Costa Rica. There are also many convenience stores that carry everything you need throughout the area.

What are my options as far as home and auto insurance?

All insurance in Costa Rica is provided by the government at prices that are determined by your individual circumstances.

What are the restaurants like near Discover Costa Rica Real Estate developments?

There are many restaurants all over the area offering a wide range of menu items from local favorites to New York style pizza. The food in the region is regarded as delicious and as a better kept secret in the region.

Are the roads safe to drive on?

The Costa Rica Costanera highway from Dominical Costa Rica to Palmar Norte has been completely improved and repaved for safe and expedient driving conditions. Other roads throughout Costa Rica range in quality, and are often not at the same standards to that of the United States, however if you drive carefully safety will not be a problem.
